Principal
Jonathan DeCoste
Jon is an operator and business builder. He likes real products, practical problems, and teams that want to win the right way.
He is the founder of Pantheon Row and CEO of Metalex Metal Buildings Inc., an Alberta-based manufacturer serving industrial, energy, agricultural, and infrastructure customers. At Metalex, Jon is focused on building a stronger business for the long term: improving systems, supporting people, serving customers well, and protecting the reputation the company has earned.
Jon's path has not been linear. He began as an engineer, worked on rigs in Northern Canada, moved through manufacturing and construction, helped lead large capital project programs, and later worked in software, consulting, and business acquisitions. Along the way, he has helped build and scale teams, systems, and businesses in both large corporate environments and smaller entrepreneurial companies.
Across all of it, his approach has stayed consistent: simplify what is complex, build repeatable systems, take care of customers, and develop people who can execute.
Pantheon Row reflects that same philosophy. We look for strong established businesses with real customers, capable teams, and owners who care deeply about what happens next. The goal is not to buy and flip. The goal is to become a long-term home for businesses worth preserving and building.
Jon and his wife, Kelly, are originally from Nova Scotia and have called Alberta home since 2006. They live in Airdrie with their three children. Outside of work, Jon is usually cheering on one of his kids' sports teams, building something, or learning something new.
